Kuten olen aiemminkin kertonut, meillä on Maikin kanssa lautanauhojen kunniaksi oikein Facebook-sivu Lautanauhat / tablet weaving. Julkaisemme siellä ohjeita etenkin kun tykkääjien määrässä tulee täyteen tasalukuja. Jokin aika sitten tuli 5000 tykkääjää täyteen, joten oli uuden lahjanauhan aika. Tähän malliin on otettu inspiraatiota Suomen rautakaudelta, mutta nyt ei olekaan kyseessä nauhalöytö, vaan koruja muutettuna lautanauhaksi. Tekniikka on toimikas, jota muuten ei vielä tähän mennessä ole Suomen nauhoista löydetty. Iloisia hetkiä nauhan kutomisen parissa! As I have told before, me and Maikki have a Facebook page for our tablet weaving work, called Lautanauhat / tablet weaving . We publish patterns to celebrate special things, like when we reach another thousand likes or so. Now that page has over 5000 likes, we published another pattern. This was inspired by Finnish iron age, not the textile finds, but jewellery. The technique is twill. So far there are NO twill band...
Saturday 16th September, wedding of Anna Attiliani and Francesco Betti, also known ans Damisella and Todeschino , who actually lived in the Imola at 14th century. It all started year ago in Visby, Gotland. My young italian friends Anna and Francesco lived with us in Battle of Wisby camp. One day we were again taking a walk to the old town, and they asked me to take their photo at their favorite spot. I did. They looked happy and very much in love so I sait that "you can use this at your wedding invitations". You see, ten years ago me and Riku were in Visby and we got our picture taken - and year later we used that picture in our wedding invitations.
